Where do the trails come from?

Trail X Trail is the tool, not a trail seller, and we never charge for trails. You get them three ways: bring your own by importing GPX, KML, KMZ or GeoJSON files, build your own in the app, or ride community track packs that riders create and share.

Does it really work fully offline?

Yes. Download your basemaps and track packs to the device over Wi-Fi, and routing, navigation and ride recording all run with zero signal. No towers and no data plan are needed on the trail.

Do I need to buy anything extra for RideMesh?

Accepted Answer

Only if you want off-grid crew comms. RideMesh pairs with an inexpensive Meshtastic radio you buy separately. The app itself works fully without one.

One flat yearly price of $24.99 with no tiers, ads or in-app purchases. Every feature is unlocked on day one, and you can cancel anytime in your app store.

iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets. It is built for the dash-mounted tablet in your SxS, and you can plan on your computer in the web planner and it syncs straight to the trail.
